- About us: We are an established and award winning Allergy and Asthma clinic dedicated to the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases in adults and children. The practice has locations in Brooklyn and Queens. we have been providing care to the community for over 16 years and has an excellent reputation. We specialize in asthma, hay fever, food, skin, and drug allergies, ear and sinus problems, eczema and hives. The practice is growing and is looking for a board certified/board eligible physician in Allergy and Immunology. The position can be part time or full time. The practice gives support to physicians in the form of medical assistants and physician extenders (PA and NP). Medical assistants provide support to the physician by assisting the physician with allergy skin tests, spirometry, NO readings, patch testing, oral food/drug challenges and PCN testing and rhinoscopy. The Allergy shot clinic runs independently and is fully staffed with nurses mixing vials and administering shots. We are looking to include OIT to the list of the many services that we offer.
Responsibilities:
- Examine, diagnose and treat adult /pediatric patients
- Provide guidance and supervision for other non physician members of the professional staff
- Complete charts and documentation to enable effective billing
